The creation of a one-stop-shop for trucks and vans, including HGV MOT testing, was the brief set by a Shropshire company to put them at the forefront of the industry.
After putting forward our ideas, we were excited to be chosen from numerous tenders to deliver the innovative revamp at Halesfield Truck and Van in Telford.
The work included a complete electrical rewire of the entire building as well as roof improvements and repairs, and the building of a new office.
But foremost was the creation of a VOSA approved test lane, enabling HGV vehicles to be MOT tested at the company's own premises, ensuring both existing and new customers flexibility and peace of mind, saving time and money and presenting a complete vehicle management package.
We worked closely with Halesfield Truck and Van to make sure programming of the new renovations did not impede on their current building and the practical day-to-day running of their workshop.
Andrew Davies, Managing Director of Halesfield Truck and Van said: "We were impressed with Design Forum's vision and recognition of our business needs whilst undertaking the major reworks.
"Stephen's meticulous attention to detail and great conceptual ability and his team's cheerful professionalism, adapting to the ever-changing demands of our busy workshop on a daily basis, meaning that the entire company was a pleasure to work with throughout.
"We would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Design Forum to anyone looking for architectural design or construction management and we look forward to working with them again in the future."
